Global Search and Metadata

Standard search boxes are incorporated into the permanent navigation features of the page, where possible, in the upper right-hand corner.

Global Search Box

Search results are ranked in order of relevance based on keywords contained in returned documents. Search results contain links directly to the referenced material. The option to search within returned results is offered as well as suggestions for related terms and misspellings.

Database Search with "select from results"

The database search functionality and the "add to selected results" functionality are separate and distinct functions. The top grid allowsthe user to search with specific criteria. The results grid displays the search results with the ability to select one (as a direct link to that record), or multiple (add multiple records to a selected results grid at the bottom).
