Scrolling, Tabbing and Paging

Vertical scrolling provides ease of use to users filling in forms. Proper tab order policies facilitate auto-scrolling of forms as users tab through page form fields. When possible, NCTracks applications that have high-speed data entry requirements are designed to fit the application data on one full-screen page. Forms that scroll for numerous pages leverage anchor tag references allowing the user to quickly jump to another area of the form. (See Forms).

Horizontal scrolling will not be present in any general public content and will only be employed in other areas where it is unavoidable, for example, a user generated a report presented in landscape mode to be printed on 8.5" x 14" (legal) format paper.
