The April Back Porch Chat will provide insight to the State’s approach to integrated care and the Collaborative Care Model. A diverse panel of guest speakers will share their experience, challenges and successes with Collaborative Care.

Please join NC DHHS Chief Medical Officer for Behavioral Health & Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD), Dr. Carrie Brown; NC Medicaid Chief Quality Officer, Kelly Crosbie; and Director of the North Carolina Area Health Education Centers (NC AHEC), Hugh Tilson alongside guest speakers from the provider community.

Dental Provider Educational Sessions

Friday, April 22, 2022 – 9-11 a.m. and May 6, 2022 – 1-3 p.m. | Register

The NC Medicaid Dental Policy Team and the Office of Compliance & Program Integrity (OCPI) Team will host a dental provider educational session. NC Medicaid Dental Policy Team will inform providers of any new updates in the dental policy. OCPI will give a breakdown of what OCPI does, how OCPI works and how OCPI handles compliance in Medicaid. The dental pre-payment vendor (Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence) and the dental post-payment review program (Public Consulting Group) will expound on the process of pre-payment and post-payment review.

 

Save the Date: NC Medicaid Quality Forums

Join us for the NC Medicaid 2022 Quality Forums. The forums will highlight three topics that coincide with NC Medicaid Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs). The presenters will share the PIPs they have implemented to improve outcomes for Medicaid members that continue to be high priority for all Medicaid providers.
