A Message from NCTracks on Behalf of NC Medicaid Tailored Care Management Education Opportunities
NC AHEC has partnered with the NC Department of Health and Human Services and Division of Health Benefits to equip Tailored Care Management (TCM) candidates with the tools and knowledge to effectively provide care management services to North Carolina’s Tailored Plan beneficiaries through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities:
Perinatal Substance Exposure Education (PSEED) in Tailored Care Management:
September 16 | 2 p.m. - Register
This training focuses on the necessary role of the PSEED educator in the perinatal substance use disorder (PSUDs) team. The goals of this training will be to establish foundational knowledge to create and implement this role on a team. We will discuss the scope of the role of the PSEED educator across the spectrum of perinatal care from screening to postpartum. *Will be the required Perinatal course after December 1 launch.
Round 3 NC AMH+/CMA Certification Overview:
September 29 | 3 p.m. - Register
Interested in becoming an AMH+ or CMA? This session will provide an overview Tailored Care Management and the process for becoming a AMH+ or CMA. This session will focus on what to expect in the first phase of the certification, desk review.
