The NC Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has recently published new Medicaid Bulletin articles:

• OTC COVID-19 Test for Home Use Pharmacy POS Coverage- On/Go COVID-19 HOME COLLECT KIT added to coverage.
• Flortaucipir F 18 Injection, for Intravenous Use (Tauvid™) HCPCS Code A9601 - Flortaucipir F 18 Injection, Diagnostic, 1 Millicurie: Billing Guidelines- Effective with date of service, March 6, 2023, Medicaid and NC Health Choice cover flortaucipir F 18 injection.
• New Clinical Coverage Policy (CCP) 11B-9, Thymus Tissue Implantation Effective June 1, 2023-This policy addresses thymus tissue implantation using allogeneic processed thymus tissue.
• More than 8,500 Medicaid Members Receive Healthy Opportunities Services in First Year- Highlights from first year and how to refer Medicaid members for services.
• Medicaid Long-Term Services and Supports to Host Provider Forum June 23- Join NC Medicaid at the McKimmon Center in Raleigh for information and updates.
• Enhanced Medical Home Payments Extended Through Sept. 30, 2023- Includes details on checkwrite dates and additional payment distribution details.
• Pegcetacoplan Injection, for Intravitreal Use (Syfovre™) HCPCS Code J3490 - Unclassified Drugs: Billing Guidelines- Effective with date of service March 1, 2023, Medicaid and NC Health Choice cover pegcetacoplan injection, for intravitreal use (Syfovre™)
