New Medicaid Bulletin Articles Available as of Nov. 15

The NC Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has recently published new Medicaid Bulletin articles:

• Legislated Medicaid Provider Rate Increases: Durable Medical Equipment and Ambulatory Surgical Centers - Updates on NC Medicaid programs that received legislative increases to service rates in the Current Operations Appropriations Act of 2023
• Correction to NC Medicaid Eyeglasses Dispensing Fee Billing and Payment Bulletin - In the Feb. 1, 2022, bulletin, incorrect Maximum Allowable Rates were entered in the NC Medicaid Eyeglasses Dispensing Fee Schedule table.
• Provider and Member Flexibilities for NC Medicaid Expansion Launch - Several flexibilities will be available on Dec. 1, 2023, to ease provider burden and ensure Medicaid expansion beneficiaries receive needed care.
