New Medicaid Bulletin Articles Available as of Sept. 19

The NC Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has recently published new Medicaid Bulletin articles:

• Transition Dates Announced for NC Medicaid’s Comprehensive Independent Assessment Entity- NC Medicaid Direct programs will transition to NCLIFTSS by Oct. 6, 2023
• REMINDER: Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Home Health Implementation Hard Launch Effective Oct. 1, 2023- Claims without the required EVV data will be denied.
• ICD-10 Annual Update Reminder- The 2024 ICD-10 update is effective Oct. 1, 2023 through Sept. 30, 2024.
