New Medicaid Bulletin Articles as of Oct. 10

The NC Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has recently published new Medicaid Bulletin articles:

• Terminating Coverage of Some Definitive Drug Testing Codes- Effective Dec. 1, 2024, some drug testing CPT codes will no longer be reimbursed in the outpatient setting.
• Behavioral Health Clinical Coverage Policy Updates - Withdrawal Management Policies Promulgate.
• Financial Support Available for Providers Impacted by Hurricane Helene - NC Medicaid and the health plans are committed to supporting providers impacted by the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene.
