A Message from NCTracks on Behalf of NC Medicaid Tailored Care Management Continuing Professional Development Opportunities

NC AHEC has partnered with the NC Department of Health and Human Services and Division of Health Benefits to equip Tailored Care Management (TCM) providers with the tools and knowledge to effectively provide care management services to North Carolina’s Tailored Plan beneficiaries through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.

TCM: Medical Terminology for Tailored Care Management

March 14 | 3-5 p.m.

In this session we will cover the basics of medical terminology including the use of prefixes, suffixes, combining forms and word roots. We will also briefly go over body systems, including the cardiology, respiratory, digestive, and musculoskeletal systems.

 

Tailored Care Management Learning Collaborative (LC) Session 63: DHB Office Hours

March 20 | 12:30-1:30 p.m.

TCM Learning Collaboratives (LCs) are designed to assist TCM candidates in developing the administrative tools to implement best practices within all treatment settings and among all providers. These sessions will be led by NC AHEC Practice Support to facilitate a coordinated learning experience with access to subject matter experts across the state.

 

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)/Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) in Tailored Care Management

March 26 | 9:30-11 a.m.

In this webinar, family nurse practitioner Carriedelle Fusco reviews best practices in the treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD) and how OUD treatment can be provided through tailored care management.
