A Message from NCTracks on Behalf of NC Medicaid
In response to Hurricane Humberto and Tropical Storm Invest 94L (potential Tropical Storm Imelda), NC Medicaid is implementing temporary flexibilities to ensure continued access to medications for beneficiaries in impacted areas.
Effective Sept. 26, 2025, through Oct. 3, 2025, NC Medicaid-enrolled pharmacy providers may:
- Override prior authorization (PA) requirements
- Allow early prescription refills
