New Medicaid Bulletin Articles Available as of May 2

The NC Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has recently published new Medicaid Bulletin articles:

• Utilizing Managing Relationship (MR) User Role in NCTracks - Option to Create Secondary/Back-up Office Administrators
• Upcoming Provider Application Changes - Changes to the NCTracks provider application are coming in 2025.
• NC Medicaid Streamlines Process for Clinical Coverage Policy Revision Requests   - NC Medicaid implements a more efficient method for submitting revision requests in active Clinical Coverage Policies.
• Cognitive Assessment and Care Plan Service - Effective May 1, 2025, NC Medicaid covers CPT 99483, Cognitive Assessment and Care Plan Service.
• Adding Coverage of CPT Code 0421U – ColoSense Multi-Target Stool RNA-Based Colorectal Cancer Screening - Effective May 1, 2025, NC Medicaid will provide coverage for CPT Code 0421U – ColoSense, a multi-target stool RNA-based colorectal cancer screening test.
