New Medicaid Bulletin Articles Available as of Sept. 17

The NC Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has recently published a new Medicaid Bulletin article:

• Updated Guidance for NC Medicaid Payments to Planned Parenthood – Sept. 17, 2025 - NC Medicaid is providing additional information to providers about new federal prohibitions on certain providers.
• Updated Coverage for Psychiatric Collaborative Care Management- Sept. 17, 2025 - The purpose of this bulletin update is to provide clarification that Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Code 99494 is allowed to be billed up to four times per month, effective July 1, 2024.
• Coming Soon: NCDHHS Credentialing Committee - The first meeting for the new Credentialing Committee is slated for Oct. 8, 2025.
• ICD-10 Update Effective Oct. 1, 2025 - The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the 2026 ICD-10 code list effective Oct. 1, 2025.
