A Message from NCTracks on Behalf of NC Medicaid NC Rural Health Transformation Program and NC Medicaid Primary Care Payment Pilot Program - WEBINAR OPPORTUNITY
Please join us on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 12-1 p.m. for an overview of a planned new payment approach for eligible Medicaid primary care providers. NC Medicaid intends to test a new option for paying primary care providers through its managed care plans under North Carolina’s Rural Health Transformation Program.
The program aims to strengthen financial stability for rural primary care practices and expand access to preventive, coordinated care. Participating providers would receive a monthly payment for each Medicaid beneficiary assigned in place of most fee-for-service payments. Attendees will learn about the pilot program’s goals, timeline, and opportunities for engagement as NC Medicaid designs the program and prepares for launch.
Speakers include:
Maggie Woods, Director, North Carolina Rural Health Transformation Program
Elizabeth Kasper, Care Delivery and Payment Reform Senior Advisor, NC Medicaid
This webinar will cover the following topics:
- Introduction to North Carolina’s Rural Health Transformation Program (NCRHTP) and guiding principles to invest in rural health care in North Carolina.
- Overview of NC Medicaid’s pilot program under NCRHTP to improve financial stability through predictable payments for rural primary care practices.
- Details about the primary care pilot planned timeline and upcoming opportunities for provider feedback.
