A Message from NCTracks on Behalf of NC Medicaid New Medicaid Bulletin Articles as of April 24th
The NC Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has recently published new Medicaid Bulletin articles:
- Quarterly Provider Update – Spring 2026 - Information about a new Provider Directory API, recent provider communications, upcoming webinars and more.
- Post-Enrollment National Accreditation Update - Action Required: Providers with Active 251S00000X Taxonomy must select Service and meet national accreditation requirements within one year.
- Innovations Waiver Providers – Updated Service and National Accreditation Requirements - Action Required: Providers with Active 251S00000X Taxonomy must select New Service and Report National Accreditation.
- Appropriate Use of Modifier CR (Catastrophe/Disaster Related) - Modifier CR should only be appended to procedure codes when services are directly related to a Federal or State-declared emergency or disaster.
