A Message from NCTracks on Behalf of NC Medicaid New Medicaid Bulletin Articles as of March 19th

The NC Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has recently published new Medicaid Bulletin articles:

• Tobacco-free Campus Policy Requirements Delayed Indefinitely - The Department is no longer requiring compliance with Tobacco-free Campus Policy Requirements by Jan. 1, 2027.
• Request for Applications: North Carolina Child Welfare Trauma-Informed Assessment - Applications must be submitted no later than March 22, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
• Behavioral Health National Accreditation Requirements Provider Update - For NC Medicaid and Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Use Services (DMHDDSUS) State Funded Behavioral Health Providers.
• Transition of Pharmacy Benefit Administrator for NC Medicaid Direct - NOTE: This change applies only to NC Medicaid Direct beneficiaries. There is no impact to beneficiaries enrolled in NC Medicaid Managed Care.
