New Medicaid Bulletin Articles as of Oct. 23

The NC Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has recently published new Medicaid Bulletin articles:

• Termination of Taxonomy 251S00000X for Records Without a Service Effective Nov. 2, 2026- Providers enrolled with taxonomy 251S00000X without a Service will have the taxonomy terminated from the NCTracks record effective Nov. 2, 2026.
• 2026 Assessment Rates for Skilled Nursing Facility Providers- CY 2026 NC Medicaid provider assessment rates per non-Medicare licensed bed day for Skilled Nursing Facility providers.
• 1915(i) Assessment Tool Update Oct. 1, 2026- Please ensure tailored care managers and care coordinators are using the updated version as of Oct. 1, 2026.
