The NC Medicaid Telehealth Billing Code Summary includes the following updates:

• Telehealth Guidance: Codes that require 2 modifiers (i.e., GT and CR) must be billed with both modifiers or the claim detail will deny:
  • Table 2. Telepsychiatry and Telebehavioral Health Services
  • Table 13. Perinatal Care
• Table 21. Skilled Nursing Facilities includes new evaluation and management codes.
