Med Solutions and Prior Authorization Status

Status as of 1 PM, 07/03/2013

All faxed requests for prior authorization have been processed. Requests submitted via the portal or by phone are being processed. The prior approval files from MedSolutions to CSC will be resubmitted to ensure correct claims processing.

Providers who were unable to initiate a prior authorization during the week of 07/01/2013 should now contact MedSolutions for authorization requests.

Providers who received an authorization from MedSolutions during this week but subsequently received a denial for no authorization should contact MedSolutions to have the authorization resubmitted to CSC. After placing this request, providers should wait 10 days to resubmit the claim.
