Attention NCTracks Trading Partners: Important Notice: Transition to New Trading Partner Certification Tool
(Note: This NOTICE DOES NOT APPLY to Trading Partners who have completed HIPAA transaction certification)
Dear NCTracks Trading Partner,
We would like to inform you of an upcoming change to the NCTracks Ramp Management testing portal powered by Edifecs, and used for the certification of HIPAA X12 standard transactions.
Effective January 1, 2026, NCTracks will be transitioning to Edifecs’ Smart Trading Cloud Trading Partner Management (TPM) for managing the certification process. As part of this transition, the current Ramp Management portal will be decommissioned on December 31, 2025.
What This Means for NCTracks Trading Partners:
- The Smart Trading Cloud TPM portal will be available starting January 1, 2026.
- NCTracks Trading Partners that have completed certification are not required to recertify. NO ACTION IS NECESSARY!
- This change will affect new NCTracks Trading Partner certifications for the following HIPAA transactions:
- 270/271 – Health Insurance Eligibility Request/Response
- 276/277 – Claim Status Inquiry/Response
- 837 – Health Care Claim (Professional, Institutional, Dental)
- 835 – Remittance Advice
- 834 – Benefit Enrollment
- Prospective NCTracks Trading Partners who have Ramp Management accounts and haven’t completed certification testing are encouraged to do so in Ramp Management before 12/31/2025 or they will need to start the process over in the Smart Trading Cloud TPM portal.
- NCTracks Trading Partners that are certified and use Ramp Manager to verify compliance for production files will continue to have this functionality in the Smart Trading Cloud TPM tool. Instructions are forthcoming regarding how to access the Smart Trading Cloud TPM tool.
- Providers who use the services of a clearinghouse or the NCTracks Provider Portal are not affected by this transition.
We encourage you to review your current processes and ensure readiness for this transition. Additional details, including access instructions and timelines for the new testing portal, will be shared in the coming weeks. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact us at NCMMIS_EDI_SUPPORT@gdit.com. Thank you for your continued partnership.
