Attention NCTracks Trading Partners: Transition to New Trading Partner Certification Portal

(Note: This NOTICE DOES NOT APPLY to Trading Partners who have completed HIPAA transaction certification)

Dear NCTracks Trading Partner,

The November 5, 2025, communication provided information about an upcoming change to the NCTracks Ramp Management testing portal powered by Edifecs and used for the certification of HIPAA X12 standard transactions. This follow-up communication is meant as informational for most Trading Partners since they have already certified their HIPAA transactions through Ramp Management.

On March 16, 2026, NCTracks will be transitioning to Edifecs’ Smart Trading Cloud Trading Partner Management (TPM) used for the HIPAA transaction certification process. As part of this transition, the current Ramp Management portal will be decommissioned on April 1, 2026. The April 1, 2026, decommissioning date is an update from what was indicated in the previous communication on November 5, 2025. The Smart Trading Cloud TPM portal will be available starting March 16, 2026.

What This Means for NCTracks Trading Partners:

  • If you have certified your HIPAA transactions previously through Ramp Management and no longer use Ramp Management, NO ACTION IS NECESSARY.
  • Some certified NCTracks Trading Partners use Ramp Management to validate all of their HIPAA X12 transactions before submitting them to NCTracks. (This is an option, but not required.) These active users of Ramp Management will need to use the new TPM Partner Portal beginning March 16. EDI Operations will send an invitation to those specific users.
  • New NCTracks Trading Partners who haven’t completed HIPAA transaction certification will need to use the new TPM Partner Portal for certification. EDI Operations will also send an invitation to those users.
  • Providers who use the services of a clearinghouse or the NCTracks Provider Portal are not affected by this transition.
