Attention Dental Providers Paper Submissions of Dental Prior Approvals Ending September 1, 2026

Effective September 1, 2026, paper submissions of Dental Prior Approval (PA) requests and supporting documentation will no longer be accepted by NCTracks. All Dental PA requests and supporting documentation must be submitted electronically through the NCTracks Provider Portal.

Dental PA requests or supporting documentation submitted by mail or fax on or after September 1, 2026, will be voided.

Providers should ensure all required documentation is attached directly to the PA segment within the NCTracks Provider Portal at the time of submission.

Updated training guides and helpful resources will be posted in the coming weeks under Quick Links on the NCTracks Dental Services page, including:

Providers are encouraged to review these materials prior to the September 1, 2026 implementation date to ensure successful electronic submission of Dental PA requests.
