Claim Edit for Provider Affiliation – Implementation Date Change

The implementation date for the affiliation claim edit has changed from February 5, 2017, to May 1, 2017. Providers are encouraged to submit Managed Change Requests (MCRs) before May 1, 2017 to affiliate the attending/rendering providers with the billing provider(s) who are submitting claims on their behalf. This will prevent claim denials effective May 1, 2017.
