Issue with License/Accreditation/Certification (LAC) Effective Dates on Provider Applications

It has come to the attention of NCTracks that some providers are receiving the following error message on the Accreditation Page during their Re-enrollment, Re-verification, or Manage Change Request (MCR) applications:

"Effective date for required accreditation/certification/licensure must be equal to or before the taxonomy begin date."

To avoid this error message providers should edit the License/Accreditation/Certification (LAC) Effective Date to the taxonomy begin date; this allows submission of the application. GDIT staff will correct the LAC effective date to match the credential upon primary source verification.
