NCCI MUE Unit Limitation Editing

Recently, it was discovered that NCCI MUE unit limitation editing on outpatient claims with drug revenue codes 025x and 063x was not being applied. This lack of editing was allowing outpatient claim lines to process and pay with units in excess of the MUE limit. The fix will be applied to the system and correct MUE editing will be applied to applicable outpatient claims beginning May 7, 2023. A decision on reprocessing will be addressed in a future announcement.
