• Cholera Vaccine, Live, Oral Suspension for Oral Administration (Vaxchora®) HCPCS Code 90625 - Cholera Vaccine, Live, Adult Dosage, 1 Dose Schedule, for Oral Use: Billing Guidelines - Effective with date of service Oct. 1, 2023, NC Medicaid covers cholera vaccine, live, oral suspension for oral administration (Vaxchora).
• Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine, Inactivated, Adsorbed Suspension for Intramuscular Injection (Ixiaro®) HCPCS Code 90738 - Japanese Encephalitis Virus Vaccine, Inactivated, for Intramuscular Use: Billing Guidelines - Effective Oct. 1, 2023, NC Medicaid covers Japanese encephalitis vaccine, inactivated, adsorbed suspension for intramuscular injection.
• Typhoid Vaccine Live Oral Ty21a (Vivotif®) HCPCS Code 90690 - Typhoid Vaccine, Live, Oral: Billing Guidelines - Effective with date of service Oct. 1, 2023, NC Medicaid covers typhoid vaccine live oral Ty21a (Vivotif)
• Typhoid Vi Polysaccharide Vaccine (Typhim Vi®) HCPCS Code 90691 - Typhoid Vaccine, Vi Capsular Polysaccharide (ViCPs), for Intramuscular Use: Billing Guidelines - Effective with date of service Oct. 1, 2023, NC Medicaid covers typhoid vi polysaccharide vaccine (Typhim Vi).
