NC Health Choice Removed from NCTracks Provider Portal; Draft Applications will be Deleted

As of April 1, 2023, NC Health Choice was automatically transitioned to the Medicaid program. Effective May 5, 2024, providers will no longer be able to retroactively enroll in the NC Health Choice health plan. NC Health Choice will also be removed as an option from the following areas of the NCTracks portal:

  • Provider application pages including initial enrollment, re-enrollment, Manage Change Request (MCR), and re-verification
  • Enrolled practitioner search pages
  • Help content
  • The Provider Permission Matrix (PPM)

As a result of these updates all draft applications in the NCTracks system will be automatically deleted at 12 a.m. ET on May 5, 2024. Please submit all applications in the NCTracks system before this date to avoid loss of data.
