A Message from NCTracks on Behalf of NC Medicaid Tailored Care Management Training Updates

NC Medicaid has made important updates to the training requirements outlined in the Tailored Care Management (TCM) Provider Manual. As part of ongoing efforts to streamline processes and support provider efficiency, NC Medicaid has made the following key changes: 

Removal of Several Trainings from the TCM Provider Manual:

These changes will take effect prior to the release of the next iteration of the manual. The launch date for the changes will be Jan. 5, 2026.  

Revisions to Bundle 1 and Bundle 2: 

The training requirements in Bundle 1 and Bundle 2 have been significantly reduced.  

Refresher and Elective Curriculum: 

NC Medicaid identified 34 trainings and/or sessions that will comprise the refresher and elective curriculum. 

These updates will be reflected in the next version of the TCM Provider Manual. Please implement the updates immediately. The list of updated trainings is available on the Tailored Care Management webpage under Training under Updates.
