NC Medicaid COVID-19 Bulletins #107, #108 and #109 Available

The NC Division of Health Benefits (DHB) has recently published three more Medicaid Bulletin articles related to COVID-19:

SPECIAL BULLETIN COVID-19 #107: Continuation of COVID-19 Enhanced Rates

NC Medicaid has temporarily enhanced many reimbursement rates, including medical home per member per month payments, to support health care providers in delivering Medicaid services. NC Medicaid is committed to ensuring beneficiaries continue to receive Medicaid and NC Health Choice services with no interruptions or delays due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Read More.

 

SPECIAL BULLETIN COVID-19 #108: Behavioral Health Services: Guidance on Re-certification and Certification Requirements for CPR/First Aid and Restrictive Interventions

NC Medicaid, in partnership with the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services, is offering the following guidance to providers, instructors, and staff regarding restrictive interventions and CPR/First Aid. This is applicable to mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorder services, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Read more.

This is an update to SPECIAL BULLETIN COVID-19 #24: NC Medicaid Cost Report Filing Extensions Due to COVID-19 posted on March 27, 2020.The Fiscal Year End (FYE) Dec. 31, 2019 has a revised due date of Aug. 31, 2020. Extended due dates have been added for FYE Jan. 31, 2020 and FYE Feb. 29, 2020. More information.
