FMR Training (WebEx)

Tuesday, February 14 – 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Course Description
This course will guide authorized State users through the process of creating a File Maintenance Request (FMR) request.

File Maintenance is a support system consisting of multiple, independent table maintenance modules; specific updates are initiated through the FMR system. File Maintenance functions as a “reference library” for other functional areas such as Claims Processing.

The FMR system consists of a set of processes within ShareNET designed to handle file maintenance workflows. Some of these are:

  • Periodic mass updates to files such as procedure codes and diagnosis codes
  • Specific updates such as edit disposition changes, rate changes, requests to mass adjust claims, and modifying any data across all functional areas within NCTracks

Course Objectives
At the end of this training, the user will learn how to create, approve, work and finalize an FMR request.
